Alexander has over 30 years of international business experience spanning both business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets across the globe, cuminating in a CEO role and Executive Board Membership.

Alexander was CEO at Mai Dubai during its growth years, driving customer penetration while nurturing a safe, efficient and a happy workplace. He advocated an active social and environmental agenda, and promoted the water industry interests in general. As of January 2023 he left Mai Dubai but remained active in the water industry.

Alexander is an advisor, certified coach, investor, consultant and gives keynote speaches. Outside his own Consultancy company he is affliated with W.I.P. (Water Impact Partners) and CMI-Merryck (executive coaching).

As a globe trotter, he has lived in 7 European countries, as well as the Middle East and the USA. Today he spends most of his time between Dubai and Europe.

Alexander earned an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management (The Netherlands), and is the author of the book: “In Pursuit of Chocolate, a Journey of Discovery” capturing his family’s one-year backpack travel expedition around the world.
