F&B Business Group and UAE Food Platform 
As Secretary General of the business group, with the help of the board, Vaheed put in place the organisation  structure and process that built a cohesive sector representation for the food sector. Driving an ecosystem  enabling approach, he gave leadership for setting up the platform that connects various value chain player. F&B  Group today plays an important role in the food security of UAE. He is also the ecosystem architect for Suntec that is powering the UAE Food Data Platform.

SS Lootah 
At S.S.Lootah Group, as Manager Ventures, Governance and Strategies, Vaheed had been reporting to the CEO and working with the family board. Working alongside Directors and CEOs of Business Units, he had been driving fundamental change management and governance initiatives in most of the 25 plus business units under SS Lootah. His exposure to various industries in the group ranging from construction, natural gas, healthcare,  education and FMCG gave him a multi domain perspective of business. Being part of several feasibility studies for ventures in UAE, the exposure and network he has built helps brings experience into the teams he works with. He was involved in restructuring the group companies and reviewing the finance and governance functions, specially looking at financial planning, budgeting, financial performance management, and treasury functions.

Otis 
At Otis, reporting to the General Manager, he progressed within the organisation working in different roles and projects. He was responsible for developing and implementing the enterprise wide planning using primavera, which had a significant cost reduction impact on project deliverables. He was responsible deploying the service management system, which resulted high customer response rates. The company also got recognized for excellence in 2001 with DQA program during his tenure.
