Seminar highlights
The inaugural seminar of the Future Food CEO Thought Leadership Series successfully connected senior leaders of
the UAE food and beverage sector to address recent challenges and opportunities of the new Covid-19 business
environment. H.E. Abdalla Sultan Saif Al Fan Al Shamsi opened the conversation on the latest advancements to
tackle pandemic constraints and engaged directly to respond to questions from the senior delegation. Andrey
Dvoychenkov, Managing Director at Nielsen Arabian Peninsula & Pakistan, led a high-value discussion exploring
commercial shifts from the pandemic and observations on its impact on consumer behaviour. The expert speaker
panel together also brought to attention insights into the latest manufacturing and purchasing trends and the
responsibility of all stakeholders to uphold quality standards to set the tone for progress as we undertake the next
phase of the pandemic. The power of brands to offer new price points, the shifting demands across the supply
chain, the age of online ordering, and relationship management were also key topics during the active debate.
