Rashi Chowdhary
- Founder, Nutrition in Sync
Rashi Chowdhary, a renowned Indian nutritionist based in UAE, is dedicated to educating people on how to navigate diet misconceptions and promote a holistic and healthy lifestyle.
Rashi completed her education in Human Nutrition from SNDT University in Mumbai and began her career as a nutritionist and diabetes educator. However, her own personal experience with endometriosis led her to delve deeper into issues like inflammation, gut health, and alternative approaches to address them. This resulted in the growth of her nutrition business from a small clinic to a thriving enterprise.
As a leading expert in overall wellness, Rashi is passionate about re-evaluating our relationship with food and our bodies. Not only is she an award-winning nutritionist, she has also been recognized as a proficient health expert, winning the Vogue Beauty Awards 2019.
Rashi believes in the power of education and has introduced innovative concepts like seed cycling and regularly shares nutritional tips on social media. Her approach to health and wellness prioritizes body acceptance, connecting mental and physical health, and a comprehensive understanding of nutrition. Through her various health and wellness brands, services, and products, Rashi aims to provide new perspectives on nutrition and fitness, helping people live a more balanced, fulfilled, and healthy life.
Rashi’s approach to nutrition focuses on healthy food psychology rather than just being in a calorie deficit. Her team of nutritionists runs two key programs, The Collective and The One, which aim to help participants re-establish their relationship with food and gain a better understanding of their connection with it.
Rashi’s belief is that our emotional connection with food and having healthy food psychology is more important than anything else. She is against the notion of feeling guilty about eating certain foods or associating eating salads with diets, and strongly believes that how we feel and think about food is more important than being in a calorie deficit. Her team plans to introduce more services based on client recommendations and Rashi’s expertise in the field, further cementing her commitment to promoting healthy and balanced lifestyles.
Rashi has a healthy snacking brand called Plaay (formerly known as Protein Bakeshop). She is one of the partners holding 35% of the shares of this brand. The brand was initially launched in 2015 and after becoming a market leader it has been restructured and relaunched in February 2023 and is already facing a huge appreciation from the market.
